Join First Congregational Church in welcoming this year's Christmas Season at our annual Advent Festival on December 7th! A much-loved church tradition, the Advent Festival is a warm and wonderful way to spend time in the company of friends and family and revel in holiday spirit! What is the Advent Festival?
The Advent Festival is an afternoon of craft and gift making. Children ages 3 to 12 travel from table to table making any number of various crafts. This year, we are offering more than 15 different tables, from perennial favorites like Shrinky Dinks, to Yogurt Bottle Snowmen, and Candy Cane Hearts. There's something sure to please everyone!

Church members are asked to assist at a craft table for a one hour shift during the Festival.

Pasta or Pizza Dinner & Cookie Sampling
Dinner follows the crafting session and begins at approximately 5:30. This year we are offering a Pasta/Salad/Bread dinner for $5.00 per person, or select Pizza at $2.00 per slice. We ask families that are staying (or coming) for dinner to bring 2 dozen homemade Christmas cookies to share for dessert. Cookie trays are also made and delivered to shut-in members of the church who are not able to attend the festival.

Caroling & Tree Trimming
At approximately 6:00 pm, Christmas Caroling begins in Patton Auditorium. The Sunday School children present a special song they have learned in their music classes. All are invited to join in the singing as the children then decorate and light the First Congregational Church Christmas Tree.

When:	Sunday, December 7th Crafting from 3 – 5 p.m.
Where:	Ketcham Hall Located in the lower level of the First Congregational Church Enter from the church parking lot.
Festival Admission:	$3 per person, to a family maximum of $15.00
Babysitting:	Babysitting for infants through age 3 is offered in our crib room at no additional charge.
Pizza Dinner:	$2.00 per slice. Beverages included.
Pasta Dinner:	$5.00 per person. Baked Ziti, Salad, Bread & Beverage.
