Lenten Music Festival - Sunday, March 21, 2010
Join us for one of the traditional highlights of Lent at FCC – the Annual Lenten Music Festival. This year, the Festival Chorus will perform a program of works by John Rutter. Following Worship we will host our annual New Member/Visitor Brunch.
Palm Sunday - Sunday, March 28, 2010
Traditional Palm Processional and Communion Service at 10:00am
Children are invited to meet in the Chapel Lounge at 9:45am to receive their palms and line up for the processional.
Maundy Thursday - April 1, 2010
We remember the Last Supper, as well as Jesus' betrayal, arrest and crucifixion through a service of Scripture, hymns, candlelight and Communion. Service will be held in the Sanctuary at 7:30pm.
Good Friday - April 2, 2010
A service of Scripture, hymns, prayer and reflection on the time
between Jesus' death and resurrection. The service will be held in Patton Auditorium at 7:30pm.
Easter Sunday - April 4, 2010
Services held at 9:00am and 11:00am. One coffee hour will be hosted between services beginning at approximately 10:00am.
We celebrate the triumph of good over evil, life over death, and light over darkness with two services of Scripture, sermon, prayer, and soul-stirring music.
CHURCH SCHOOL: One-Room schoolhouse during both services for children age 3 through 2nd grade. Infant care (to age 2) available in the crib room.
