Tuesdays beginning October 30 at 7 pm. In October, we introduce a new regular documentary and discussion series, “Docs and Dialogue”. Several times during the year, FCC members, friends and guests are invited to gather in Patton Auditorium to view and then have a conversation about a documentary from recent years, with a focus on not just the central issue addressed by the film, but also the spiritual, Biblical and theological concerns the subject and film raise. Documentaries will be previewed followed by discussion. Just in time for the upcoming elections, we will feature the critically acclaimed film “Dark Money”. “Dark Money” examines the effects of untraceable corporate money on our elections and elected officials. The Sundance Film Festival award winning documentary follows a Montana journalist’s efforts to uncover the true ramifications of the Supreme Court’s “Citizen’s United” decision on elections in both his home state and nationwide.
