The Saturday Morning Fun Club For Refugee Families provides a safe place for local refugee families to learn, play and grow. This program is in its third year and still growing. Volunteers of all ages are needed.
Volunteers can sign up for as many or as few dates as desired.
The club meets approximately 3 times a month from 10:00am – Noon at Temple Emanu-El on East Broad Street in Westfield. Volunteers offer adult refugees tutoring in English, math and life skills. Activities for the children include homework help, arts & crafts, games, and more. Volunteers also provide coffee, juice, & snacks. Especially needed are volunteers who can drive the families to and from the club.
