Movie "Paris to Pittsburgh" -Steps to improving the climate

In an ongoing effort to educate our community regarding climate change First Congregational church of Westfield will be having a movie night presenting National Geographic's "Paris to Pittsburgh".  We are at a critical point in the history of our plant, where the actions we take today and over the next 10 years are critical to reduce the current trajectory of climate change.  The impact of climate change to our children and our children's children and many future generations depends on the actions we take today.

The movie "Paris to Pittsburgh" is a non partisan movie and focuses on positive actions many communities and corporations are taking toward improving the climate.  It discusses ways that we can retool and reinvent our future using green technology.  Fighting climate change can make our economy stronger, create jobs, save lives by cleaning the air we breathe and so much more.

The overall goal of the movie is to inspire us to act, Think Globally, Act Locally.  The movie will be shown May 3 at 7pm.  An action table will be available for review.  Admission is free, refreshments will be served (the perfect family night), please RSVP the church office at 908-233-2494.
