Breakfast Church will be held the Sundays of the summer from Sunday, June 29 through Labor Day Weekend. Please join us in Patton at 10am for an informal, come-as-you-are service with continental breakfast items. Once again, we’ll sing, pray, eat, discuss, uplift and praise!
Throughout the summer, the theme of worship is “Teach us to Pray,” as we take the Lord’s Prayer one phrase at a time. We’ll explore what it means to pray for God’s kingdom, to ask for daily bread, to forgive and be forgiven, and to proclaim God’s glory. Whether you’ve prayed these words for decades or never before, come and be part of this summer of learning, listening, and growing in faith.
About our Summer Sermon Series
Teach Us to Pray: A Summer with the Lords' Prayer
When the disciples said to Jesus, “Lord, teach us to pray,” he didn’t offer techniques or requirements. He simply said, “Pray in this way…”—and gave them words that have echoed through centuries. This prayer has comforted countless hearts across the generations as a nurturing rhythm of faith—steady, timeless, and strong—inviting us to live in God’s presence with trust and hope.
This summer, we’ll take the Lord’s Prayer one phrase at a time. We’ll explore what it means to pray for God’s kingdom, to ask for daily bread, to forgive and be forgiven, and to proclaim God’s glory. Each Sunday at Breakfast Church, we’ll reflect on scripture, share conversation at the table, and discover how this prayer still speaks in our lives today.
Whether you’ve prayed these words for decades or never before, come and be part of this summer of learning, listening, and growing in faith.
“Pray in this way…” — and see what begins to grow.
