Better Together: A Weekend of Worship & Discovery

FCC is joining Westfield's Methodist and Presbyterian churches for a weekend of shared worship and learning, led by guest theologian Tom Greggs, Director of the Center of Theological Inquiry in Princeton, for a deep dive into the topic of discipleship. Each congregation is hosting one event:

  • Saturday, 9/26, 10am: Lecture held at the Presbyterian Church of Westfield (140 Mountain Ave.)

  • Sunday, 9/27, 10am: Joint worship service with clergy and musicians from all three congregations leading worship and Tom Greggs preaching, held at the First United Methodist Church (1 East Broad St.)

  • Sunday, 9/27, 12pm: Adult education forum held at FCC (125 Elmer St.)

Please note: There will be no worship service at FCC on 9/27 - everyone is invited to the joint worship service held at the Methodist church that morning. Adults and kids can join a combined choir, and after the children's message, kids will head off for a mission project during Sunday School.

Three churches, two days, one community - better together!
