What is a Star Word?

It’s a single word, chosen at random, that becomes a companion for the year. Inspired by the star that led the Magi, each word invites us to look for God’s presence and guidance in unexpected directions. It becomes a small point of light — something to notice, ponder, and carry as the year unfolds.

If you received a Star Word last year, we invite you to bring it with you. Together, we’ll take a brief moment to reflect on where that word may have appeared — quietly, boldly, or even unexpectedly. Then we will receive new Star Words for 2026, letting light lead us forward.
