Four Sundays. Four stories. This Sunday is week three of Rise Up, our 2027 Annual Giving Campaign series, and we meet a prophet (Jonah) with a very different answer to God’s call: “I don’t wanna.”

Jonah knew exactly what God was asking. He also knew exactly who God was asking him to go to, and he had good reasons to say no. So he rose up and headed in the opposite direction, as far as he could go.

Have you ever known what you were supposed to do and really, truly not wanted to? Join us Sunday at 10am as we ask what happens when “I don’t wanna” gets louder than God’s voice.
