7/5/26 - Out of the (Toy) Box: Kaleidoscope
Hold it to the light, give it a turn, and a handful of broken bits of glass becomes something beautiful. Nobody fixed the pieces. Nobody swapped them for whole ones. They're still broken, but turned toward the light, they become a pattern you don’t want to look away from.
This weekend our nation turns 250, and it’s a good time to look honestly at all the pieces, the broken and the beautiful. This Sunday we'll pull a kaleidoscope out of the box and sit with a stubborn kind of hope: that the broken pieces aren't waiting to be replaced. They're waiting to be turned toward the light.
Come as you are, and bring your hope for what we might yet become. There's a seat at the table for you.
We're taking faith out of the box — one toy at a time.
