Joe Regan

Interim Music Director

 

 Joe Regan has been a member at First Congregational Church for over 20 years, and as served as Volunteer Assistant Music Director, regularly playing during worship services and leading the choirs.

He has also been responsible for the Church School Music Program, Monthly First Saturday Services, Christmas Day Service, Music and Direction for both FCC’s Annual Spaghetti Supper & Talent Show and “October Surprise” Cabaret Show/Auction fundraisers, and the music for the annual Advent Festival.

As Interim Music Director, Joe is leading the adult and children’s choirs, as well as the bell choir, presenting a blend of traditional and modern arrangements of inspirational music for all worship services. The music program under his interim leadership continues to grow, so please visit the music ministry page often to see what is on the horizon.

Joe is also fixture on the cabaret scene in the NY Metropolitan area, appearing in piano bars and cabaret rooms, as well as on international river cruises and at various resorts. He regularly performs at Don’t Tell Mama in NYC and 16 Prospect in Westfield. He opened for Steve Ross at the 75th Anniversary of the Chrysler Building, and has been nominated numerous times as Outstanding Piano Bar Instrumentalist by the Manhattan Association of Cabaret. (MAC Awards) He is also a teaching artist for the Education Department at Paper Mill Playhouse and the Performing Arts School at MAYO Performing Arts Center in Morristown.
